Food is outstanding but never ready when it is supposed to be. Collection time was 5pm. Left a message with order asking to make sure its ready on time as need to go to work. Arrived 10 min early as I suspected order would nor be ready. Told it would be ready in 10 but food arrived over 20 min later. Seems to me you never start cooking the order until I arrive to collect it even though payment made up front. If it's going to take an hour from time of order that's fine ill turn up in an hour.

Have ordered from Handi Masala several times previously - the best local Indian takeaway. Yes, delivery can take a while but when it does arrive, its always hot & tasty. For starters we both had Onion Bhaji & tonight they were sublime & cooked to perfection. For mains we had Chicken Biriani, North Indian Chilli Garlic Chicken, pilau rice, Garlic Nan & Chilli Cheese Nan. The meal usually comes with a couple of free poppadoms & the spiced onions and sauces go perfectly with these & the onion bhaji. This was probably the best food we've ever had from Handi Masala tonight, so compliments to the chef - you knocked it out the park!

As usual the food is excellent. I’ve always promoted Handi as being very authentic and excellent value for money. They went over and above to ensure my guest with severe egg allergy had absolutely no contamination and could enjoy their meal.
